Depth therapy
for lasting change

Individual and couples therapy in a warm, confidential setting — integrating psychodynamic depth with evidence-based methods.

Understanding Therapy

What is depth psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is more than symptom management. While we address immediate concerns — anxiety, depression, relationship struggles — depth psychotherapy also explores the roots of these patterns. Together, we look at the interplay between your past experiences, current relationships, and inner emotional world. This work creates space for genuine insight and lasting change, not just temporary relief.

Who benefits from therapy?

People experiencing anxiety, depression, or burnout Couples facing communication breakdowns or trust issues Individuals navigating grief, loss, or major life transitions Those feeling stuck in repeating emotional patterns Anyone seeking deeper self-understanding and personal growth Expats adjusting to life in a new country

Is It Time?

FAQ

Common questions.

How long does therapy typically last?

It depends on your goals. Short-term therapy (12–20 sessions) works well for specific issues like phobias or situational stress. Depth-oriented work may continue for a year or more. We review progress regularly and decide together.

Absolutely. All sessions are strictly confidential under German psychotherapy law. The only exceptions are situations involving immediate danger to yourself or others, which I would discuss with you first.

I operate as a self-pay practice (Selbstzahler). This means shorter waiting times, more flexible scheduling, and complete independence from insurance restrictions. Many clients find the investment worthwhile for the quality and privacy.

That's completely normal — and that's what the free introductory call is for. I'll help you understand your options and recommend an approach based on your situation and goals.

Yes. Secure video sessions are available for individual therapy and coaching. Many clients alternate between in-person and online depending on their schedule.
